The book Gossip Girl, by Cecily Von Ziegesar, is a book about a girl named Blair who finds out her old friend Serena, who always managed to be better than her, is coming back from boarding school. They use to be best friends, but Blair has found that life is much more glamorous without Serena hogging all the attention. In the book, before each section, an anonymous person who seems to attend the same school as Blair and Serena, records all events in a website called gossipgirl.net. I believe that the author uses this to introduce the plot or theme of each section. I have created a website which I believe the website in the book would have looked like.
